Bahram Afsharmanesh

I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Science at the University of Georgia, advised by Prof. Gagan Agrawal, where I research GPU optimization, distributed training, and large-scale deep learning systems. My work bridges high-performance computing (HPC) and machine learning systems, focusing on optimizing model parallelism, scheduling, and quantized communication for heterogeneous GPU clusters. I’m passionate about designing scalable, efficient ML and HPC systems that push the limits of modern GPU clusters.
